NR 14-25 Sheriff’s Office Looking For Information Reference Suspicious Incident Involving A Child
The Brevard County Sheriff’s Office is looking for information from the public to assist in the investigation of a suspicious incident. A report was received earlier this evening that a young boy may have been forced into a vehicle in the area of Murrell Road and Country Club Drive, Viera.
The reportee, a twelve-year-old boy advised that he observed a white, four-door vehicle pull up alongside a boy who looked to be about seven years old. A black male exited the vehicle and grabbed the boy around the waist, forcing him into the back seat of the car. The male returned to the passenger side of the vehicle, which drove away from the area.
The boy is described as approximately seven years old, with sandy brown hair. He was wearing a green shirt and blue shorts. The vehicle is described as a four door, white vehicle with black accents around the doors. The vehicle was occupied by two black males, one described as wearing an orange shirt with black shorts.
As of this time, the Sheriff’s Office or other local law enforcement agencies have not received any reports reference a missing child.
