NR 14-38 Sheriff’s Agents Seeking Assistance In Identifying Burglary Suspect

The Brevard County Sheriff’s Office is requesting assistance identifying the subject depicted in the composite sketch in reference to an investigation into a Suspicious Incident / Burglary and and Aggravated Battery of a female victim that occurred at 1155 North Courtenay Parkway in Merritt Island.   The subject is described as being between, 20 to 30 year of age, 5’10 to 6’00 tall, weighing approximately 180 pounds, with a goatee.  The only clothing described by the victim was a blue shirt she observed the subject wearing at the time of the attack.

On the morning of Monday, May 26, 2014, the unidentified subject forced entry into the victim’s residence, struck her, at which time the suspect placed an unknown type of object around the victim’s neck and began to choke her until she lost consciousness.  At this time investigators do not have a motive for the attack.
