NR 14-52 Sheriff’s Office Investigates Cocoa Shooting
On July 9, 2014, at approximately 3:03 p. m., Deputies responded to the intersection of Satellite Boulevard and Burning Tree Avenue, Cocoa, in reference to an emergency 911 call advising that a person had been shot. Upon arrival, Deputies located a deceased adult male.
Crime Scene Investigators are currently processing the scene for evidence. The shooting does not appear to be a random act and all persons involved in the incident are being interviewed. An autopsy is currently scheduled to take place tomorrow at the Medical Examiner’s office.
