NR 16-05 Sheriff’s Deputies are Attempting to Identify Suspect
The Brevard County Sheriff’s Office is attempting to identify a subject responsible for the attempted burglary of the Chevron Gas Station, located at 4412 Highway 46, Mims.
The store surveillance footage captured just before midnight on December 27, 2015, shows a heavy set white male approach the business and attempt to break into the store. The male is seen walking along the front of the store looking inside several times before he uses a fire extinguisher to hit the glass door in an attempt to gain entry. When he was unsuccessful at the door, he moved to a window on the east side and again used to the fire extinguisher to hit the window.
When that was unsuccessful, the male moved to the window on the west side of the doors and attempted to gain entry again by hitting the window with the fire extinguisher. When the male was unsuccessful after all three attempts, he left the area and did not return.
