NR 17-34 Sheriff’s Office Conducting Death Investigation
The Brevard County Sheriff’s Office is conducting a death investigation at a residence in the 6900 block of Ackerman Avenue, Port Saint John.
Yesterday, an individual notified the Sheriff’s Office of two adult individuals who were last seen in the area of Merritt Island on June 16, 2017, and were considered missing.
At approximately 9:16 p.m., yesterday evening, the same individual contacted the Sheriff’s Office advising he had located the deceased males at the residence. Upon arrival, the deputies entered the residence and located the two adult males deceased inside.
The identities of the decedents are being withheld at this time.
This investigation is ongoing as members of the Crime Scene and Homicide Units are still collecting evidence and conducting interviews to determine the circumstances surrounding the deaths. The Sheriff’s Office will provide updates and further details as they become available.
