Chief Dan Singleton is a twenty-eight-year law enforcement veteran with the Brevard County Sheriff’s Office. Chief Singleton holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Criminal Justice from the University of Central Florida and a Master of Arts Degree in Management and Leadership from Webster University. He has served as a Deputy, Agent, Sergeant, GAMEOVER Task Force Sergeant, Lieutenant, Major, Countywide Watch Commander, Precinct Commander, Commander of Criminal Investigative Services, and Judicial Services Chief. His career also includes an assignment to the Bomb Squad as an FBI-certified bomb technician. Chief Singleton is a graduate of the FBI National Academy 284th Session, the FBI-LEEDA 97th Command Institute for Law Enforcement Executives, and a 2016 graduate of Leadership Brevard.
Chief Singleton currently sits on the Board of Directors for Space Coast Discovery.
