Commander Carlos Reyes

Commander Carlos Reyes is a twenty-eight-year law enforcement veteran of the Brevard County Sheriff’s Office and currently oversees the daily operations of our North Precinct, K-9 Unit, and Critical Incident Stress Management team. Commander Reyes holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice and Master’s Degree in Organizational Management. He has served as a Patrol Deputy; and an Agent in the General Crimes, Special Victims, FBI JTTF, and Homicide Units. He has served in supervisory assignments as a Patrol Sergeant, Patrol Lieutenant, and as an Investigative Sergeant and Lieutenant in the Major Crimes Division at Criminal Investigative Services. He also served eleven years as a SWAT team crisis negotiator and team leader.

Commander Reyes is a current board member at the Palm Point Behavioral Health Center.
