Commander Ron Little is a twenty-eight-year law enforcement veteran of the Brevard County Sheriff’s Office who currently serves as the Commander of our South Precinct. Commander Little holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Criminal Justice from the University of Central Florida. He has served as a Corrections and Patrol Deputy, Field Training Officer, Staff Services Unit Agent, General Crimes Unit Agent, Patrol Sergeant, FTO Coordinator Sergeant, Investigative Sergeant, Patrol Lieutenant, Career Development Unit Lieutenant, Investigative Lieutenant of the Violent Crimes Division of Criminal Investigative Services, and Professional Standards Unit Major. His career includes a 19-year assignment to the SWAT team, with 4 years as the Assistant Commander. He is also a recipient of the FBI-LEEDA Leadership Trilogy Award for his completion of the Supervisory Leadership Institute, Command Leadership Institute, and the Executive Leadership Institute.
