Director Noel Remillard

Director Noel Remillard brings over thirty-six years of dedicated service as a Corrections Deputy veteran. Prior to his long and distinguished career in corrections, he served 12 years in the United States Navy, proudly holding the rank of Petty Officer and serving during Operation Desert Storm. Throughout his tenure with the Brevard County Sheriff’s Office, Director Remillard has held a wide range of leadership roles, including Jail Complex Food Supervisor, Corrections Deputy, Transportation Deputy, Field Training Officer, Jail Complex Logistical Officer, Corrections Corporal, Facility Operations Manager, and Director of Farm Operations at the Sheriff’s Farm Facility. He currently serves as the Director of Jail Special Projects, where he oversees new construction, custodial and maintenance operations across existing jail facilities. Director Remillard has been instrumental in implementing several innovative initiatives designed to save taxpayer dollars through the efficient use of inmate labor. His programs not only reduce operational costs but also focus on lowering recidivism by equipping inmates with valuable vocational skills in construction, landscaping, and agriculture—skills that help them secure meaningful employment upon release.
