Director Noel Remillard is a thirty-five-year Corrections Deputy veteran. He also served 12 years in the United States Navy where he proudly served as a Petty Officer during Desert Storm. He has served as Jail Complex Food Supervisor, Corrections Deputy, Transportation Deputy, Field Training Officer, Jail Complex Logistical Officer, Corrections Corporal, and Facility Operations Manager as well as Director of Farm Operations at the Sheriff’s Farm Facility. He currently serves as the Director of the Brevard County Jail Special Projects where he manages custodial and maintenance activities to existing Jail Facilities, special projects and events at the Jail Complex, to include Community Services. He has implemented multiple innovative programs aimed at saving taxpayer dollars through the use of inmate labor while reducing recidivism rates by teaching inmates construction, landscaping and agricultural skills which can be utilized to secure future employment.
