Director Paul Ring is a 39-year law enforcement veteran with the Brevard County Sheriff’s Office. Director Ring holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice from Florida State University. He has served the agency as a Deputy, Corporal, Agent, Sergeant, Lieutenant, Major, Commander, and Director. He graduated from the Southern Police Institute Command Officers Development Course.
He served as a Coordinator for the Law Enforcement and Corrections Academies and the Equivalency of Training program for Eastern Florida State College.
Director Ring has been serving as a mentor for the Brevard Schools Foundation’s Take Stock in Children program for 20 years. He previously served as a member of the Board of Directors and Chairman for the Family Counseling Center of Brevard.
