Major Alan Confreda is a twenty-four-year law enforcement veteran of the Brevard County Sheriff’s Office and currently serves as a Countywide Watch Commander. He has proudly served as a Deputy, Field Training Officer, Agent, Patrol Sergeant, Sergeant of the Tactical Team and the GAMEOVER Taskforce, Patrol Lieutenant, Major Crimes Lieutenant and Major. Major Confreda attended Eastern Florida State College and the University of Central Florida. He was a 21-year member of the Sheriff’s Office SWAT team proudly holding the titles of Team Leader, Assistant SWAT Team Commander, and SWAT Team Commander during his SWAT career.
