Major Christopher Castiello is a twenty-year law enforcement veteran of the Brevard County Sheriff’s Office and currently serves as the Major of our Court Services Unit. Major Castiello holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Criminal Justice from the University of Central Florida, and a Master of Arts Degree in Homeland Security from American Military University. He has served as a Patrol Deputy, Field Training Officer, Patrol Corporal, Agent, Sergeant, and Lieutenant. He has held assignments in multiple countywide investigative units, including General Crimes, Special Victims, and the FBI Joint Terrorism Task Force. He has held supervisory assignments in Sex Offender Registration and Tracking, Digital Forensics, and Internet Crimes against Children. Major Castiello has been a member of our SWAT Crisis Negotiations team since 2017 and currently serves as the Team Leader.
