Major Quincy Hines

Major Quincy Hines is a twenty-two-year public service veteran of Brevard County, which includes three years as a firefighter prior to his law enforcement career with BCSO. He currently serves as the Commander of our Court Services Unit. Major Hines holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Criminal Justice from the University of Central Florida. He has served as a Patrol Deputy, Field Training Officer, Patrol Corporal, Sergeant, and Lieutenant. He has held assignments in multiple countywide proactive units, in our training unit as both a member of the training staff and later as the unit supervisor, as the FTO Program Coordinator, General Crimes Sergeant, overseeing the Judicial Process Unit, and as supervisor of our Special Operations Division. Major Hines has been a member of our SWAT team since 2008 and currently serves as the Team Commander. He is an FBI-LEEDA Leadership Trilogy Award recipient, having completed the 72nd Supervisor Leadership Institute, the 301st Command Institute for Law Enforcement Executives, and the 711th Executive Leadership Institute.
