Q: How Do I Report a Crime That Is Not an Emergency?

A: To report a non-emergency crime, please call 321-264-5100 and request to speak with a deputy. You may also visit any of our precincts to file a report.

A: Public Records Requests can be made via email or by visiting any of our precincts. For more information, please visit the Public Records Request portion of our webpage.

A: Any vendor wishing to request an off-duty deputy detail must contact the BCSO Off-Duty Coordinator. The BCSO Off-Duty Coordinator is available by phone at 321-264-5206 ext 54963, Monday through Friday 8:00am – 5:00pm. Download the Off-duty Request Form.

A: The Brevard County Sheriff’s Office offers prescription drug turn-ins at any of our 5 precinct locations. We accept prescription pills, patches and pet medications (pill form only). PLEASE KEEP ALL ITEMS IN THEIR ORIGINAL CONTAINERS.

We do NOT accept liquids, ointments or lotions, syringes, inhalers or aerosol containers, or chemotherapy drugs.

Cocoa Police Department, Rockledge Police Department, Indian Harbour Beach Police Department and Melbourne Police Department do also provide a drop off location. Please contact them directly regarding their policies. This information is correct and up to date to the best of our knowledge, however it may change at any time at the discretion of each agency.

A: If you are planning a vacation or have to leave your home for an extended amount of time, the safety of your property can distract you during your time away.

To arrange for a vacation home check, please contact the respective precinct covering your residence: YOUR REQUEST MUST BE RECEIVED AT LEAST FIVE (5) DAYS PRIOR TO YOUR DEPARTURE DATE.

Deputies will be notified in your area and protocol is taken to ensure that a patrol of your residence will be regularly conducted while you are away.
