I am following in the footsteps of Junny, America’s Top Police Dog, and boy did he leave some big paws to fill!! Junny was the first official mascot of the Brevard County Sheriff’s Office and because he was loved by so many people and brought awareness to so many important topics, I was chosen to help continue his legacy!!
Just like Junny, I am trained to help find missing children and adults. So on our adventures, Sheriff Ivey and I go to schools to share important safety information with kids just like you, to help keep you safe and know what to do if you ever get lost.
We remind you never to talk to strangers and always stay with your friends or parents. If you can, learn your address or phone number, so that you can tell it to a police officer or adult if you ever need help!! Most importantly, always listen to your parents, teachers, or adult in charge, because the rules will help keep you safe and away from harm!!
In fact, every night before I go to sleep, I pray that if anyone does get lost, that my other K9 friends or I will be there to help find them and bring them safely back home to their family!!
See You Around,
K-9 Saint
