NR 25-13 Sheriff’s Office Seeks Assistance in Identifying Shooting Suspect

The BrevarClearlake Suspect 1Ad County Sheriff’s Office is seeking assistance with identifying one of the suspects related to yesterday’s shooting in Cocoa.  Ultimately 3 victims were shot, one of which was a 15-year-old female, who later succumbed to her injuries at a local hospital.

The incident began yesterday at approximately 4:30 p.m. when Deputies responded to 1441 Clearlake Road after it was reported that multiple people had been shot. Upon arrival, Deputies located two male and one female with gunshot wounds, who were transported to local hospitals. At this time the two male victims are expected to survive.

Preliminary investigation has determined thatClearlake Suspect 1 the three victims were in a vehicle in the parking lot of the restaurant when a dark colored SUV pulled behind them, blocking their exit.  Multiple suspects exited the SUV and began shooting toward the victims who were attempting to exit the vehicle.  The suspects then re-entered the SUV, leaving the area prior to the arrival of Deputies.  The suspect vehicle has been recovered. Agents are still attempting to determine the motive for the attack, however, all indications are that the victims were targeted in this incident.
