The Brevard County Sheriff’s Office is located on the beautiful Space Coast of Florida, and is a full-service law enforcement agency providing functions such as patrol, aviation, SWAT and K9, along with partnerships between government agencies including DEA and HSI. Brevard County is home to approximately 670,000 residents and annually has millions of visitors between the Port Canaveral Cruise Terminal and launches from the Kennedy Space Center and Cape Canaveral Space Force Station.

The Sheriff’s Office is responsible for providing law enforcement services, court services which includes civil process, animal services and enforcement, crime prevention programs and community engagement, operational services including K9 and EOD, along with many other specialized areas to ensure the safety of our citizens and visitors alike.

Our newly designed state of the art Unified Communications Center, located in the Emergency Operations Center in Rockledge, dispatches for law enforcement, fire rescue and medical emergencies within the county and to several cities.

Partnering with our local police departments, we also maintain District & School Security for all public schools along with some private schools.
